Restaurant Administration on iOS
Menu control and kitchen workflow for your restaurant team

- Available / unavailable controls
- Customer menus update when loaded or refreshed
Photos and Categories
Add dish photos, organise categories, and open item images full screen to inspect them.
- Photo selection from your device
- Create, rename, and delete categories
- Full-screen image viewer
Order Management
Table-Based Kitchen Orders
See order timestamps, table numbers, dishes, and quantities. The order list polls for updates every 60 seconds.

- New, in progress, and closed statuses
- Confirmation before status changes
Archived Orders
Review completed orders with their itemised contents and totals.
- Past orders grouped by date
- Table references and order totals
- Access from restaurant administration
Customer Ordering on iOS and Web
Guests use the same core ordering flow on both platforms
Menu Browsing
Dish Details and Full-Screen Photos
Explore categories, prices, descriptions, and dietary labels. Tap a dish photo to open the full-screen viewer.
- Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free labels
- Full-screen photo viewing on both platforms
- Clearly marked unavailable dishes
Ordering and Payment
Add from Item Details
Use the plus button to add an available dish. The order bar shows the running total and opens your order summary.
- Add from the menu or item details
- Unavailable items cannot be added
- Running order total on menu and item screens
Payment Checkout
Review quantities and totals, enter a table number, and optionally add an email for your receipt.
- Card payments and Apple Pay on supported iOS devices
- Embedded payment form in the browser
- Validated table number and optional receipt email
Order History
Itemised Previous Orders
After a successful order, review its contents in history saved on the same device or browser. History is not live kitchen-status tracking.
- Order references and dates
- Dishes, quantities, and totals
- Local history rather than cross-device account sync
The Right Experience for Each Platform
Shared ordering features, with platform-specific payment and navigation
iOS for Restaurant Teams
Restaurant administration, item editing, kitchen orders, and archives are available in the iOS admin profile.
Browser Access for Guests
The web app offers customer ordering, not restaurant administration. Guests can explore the menu directly in a browser.
Platform-Specific Checkout
The iOS Customer App supports card payments and Apple Pay in its payment modal. Apple Pay requires a compatible device, an eligible card in Apple Wallet, and enabled merchant configuration. Web checkout uses an embedded payment form; available methods depend on its configuration.
Refresh for the Latest Menu
Menus load from the server. Open or refresh the menu to retrieve updates; ordering and payment require a network connection.
Photos Worth a Closer Look
Both customer experiences include full-screen item-photo viewing, with touch gestures supported by the iOS viewer.
A Clear Kitchen Workflow
Your team updates order status in the iOS admin app. Customer receipts show order contents, not a live preparation timeline.
